\nImphal, Jun 3 UNA : We must focus on women\u2019s education as the knowledge and empowerment of one woman can bring about a change in a family and even the society as a whole said Kangpoki assembly constituency, MLA Nemcha kipgen on Monday.
\nNemcha Kipgen was addressing as a chief guest at the second Sadar Hills HSLC Top Ten Meritorious award giving out ceremony at the community hall at Kangpokpi under the sponsorship of her and organized by the KSO-SH.
\nThe local MLA further stated that it is the uneducated and illiterate people who think women are not entitled to education.
\nAn educated person has the ability to differentiate between right and wrong or good and evil so it is the foremost responsibility of the society to educate every citizen.
\nGiving his presidential speech, president KSO-SH president, Thangminlen Kipgen said that KSO shall start a school wise visit to the length and breath of the district whether government or private one, thereby conducting quality education awareness campaign.
\nThe KSO-SH is also planning to organize literary programme from school level to block level and to district level added Thangminlen.
\nA meritorious award was given to ten students from different schools under Sadar Hills according to their percentage of their marks score.
\nThe awards carry a citation and cash.<\/p>\n\n
