IMPHAL, July 14 NNN: The all Tribal Students\u2019 Union Manipur (ATSUM) appreciates the O Ibobi Singh led Secular Progressive Front (SPF) Government of Manipur \u00a0for appointing\u00a0 Chingai constituency MLA \u00a0MK. Preshow Shimray to the post of Deputy Speaker and Z. Kikhonbou Newmai of Tamei assembly constituency to the post of Vice-Chairman of Hill Area Committee (HAC).
\nATSUM president Muan Tombing said\u00a0the timely filling of the two important posts by the tribal without any opposition from other political parties is a good gesture that speaks volumes of message to the people that under the charismatic leadership of O Ibobi, avenues are created for the Hill MLAs to venture into a broader spectrum of politics. It is indeed a test proving for the tribal to secure proper functioning of the Hill Areas Committee under 371-c of the constitution of India.
\nThe ATSUM also congratulates the two tribal MLAs on their success in stepping towards a higher call of service towards mankind.
