IMPHAL, December 12: An 85 year old man who was undergoing treatment at Shija Hospital after he was knocked down by a passenger Magic Van last Saturday succumbed to his injuries today at around 7 am. <\/p>\n
The body has been handed over to the family members after post mortem was conducted at JNIMS morgue today noon. <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, family members identified the elderly as Akoijam Komol of Thoubal Wangmataba Sorok Makha ward number one.<\/p>\n
He was knocked down by a Passenger Magic Tata last Saturday around 10.10 am at his own residential gate near the Magic Parking, family said.<\/p>\n
After that he was admitted at the Shija Hospital with a head injury and underwent treatment at the hospital before succumbing to his injury today morning, he said. <\/p>\n
Later the dead body has been claimed by the family members to performed his last ritual after the post mortem conducted at JNIMS morgue today noon <\/p>\n
On the other hand Thoubal Police have taken up a case against the incident.<\/p>\n\n
