IMPHAL, January 10: The Manipur Police has today adopted a new strategy of conducting search operation in the form of ‘house to house’ verification as a pre-emptive measure to thwart any untoward incident in view of the ensuing 64th Republic Day celebration in the state.<\/p>\n
Adopting the new strategy, Imphal East district police commandos launched a massive search operation conducting verification of family member of each household this evening around 4.30 from Harikhabok Makhong to Thumbuthong.<\/p>\n
Moreover, frisking and checking duty has been intensified in strategic points of Imphal.<\/p>\n\n
