CCPUR, January 14: T Phungzathang, minister of Health and FW\/GAD\/CADA said that a district plan like the state plan had been formulated for the development of the district, and said the plan had been successful on numerous ways. <\/p>\n
He said, he had on many occasions come across criticism but had never allowed it to deter him.<\/p>\n
He further requested the media to be responsible, and understand their role. <\/p>\n
The minister was addressing a select group of people including media persons.<\/p>\n
He say that during his term as the IFCD minister, the Khuga Dam, locally known as the Mata Dam, had been completed, after it had remained dormant since some time.<\/p>\n
After the completion of the dam, the people have water supply, even though the power sector continues to be a failure as of now.<\/p>\n
He also said that the radio station and Mini-Secretariat will be completed very soon.<\/p>\n
He further continued that in a few weeks’ time, additional labour room and operation theatre will be inaugurated and the Tiddim road is being upgraded to a double lane road with the blacktopping under process.<\/p>\n
“Guite road has been upgraded to NH, and is called NH-102B”, he said.<\/p>\n\n
