IMPHAL, January 19: A 17 year old girl found wondering in the Ningthoukhong bazaar area by locals was handed over to the Bishnupur Police by the chairperson Bishnupur Municipal council today. <\/p>\n
A press statement issued by officer in charge Bishnupur police, Ingoucha said that the 17 year old girl was found wondering in the Nigthoukhong bazaar area at around 4.15 pm yesterday.<\/p>\n
According to the press release, the girl is around four and half feet tall, with fair complexion and wearing a green wraparound (phanek).<\/p>\n
It further said that a medical examination of the girl was conducted at the Bishnupur district hospital and later kept under the supervision of the police.<\/p>\n
It further urged the concerned family members to contact the Bishnupur Police and the Child Welfare Committee, Bishnupur district.<\/p>\n\n
