IMPHAL, Jan 27: The Revolutionary People’s Front has claimed that a team of the outfit’s 252 M\/Bn of the PLA had attacked a patrolling party of the A Coy 21 Assam Rifles in between IC Village and Khungmulel Village near Sajik Tampak around 9 am of January 26.<\/p>\n
A statement of the proscribed outfit has said that the attack on the patrolling troop was carried out using explosives and guns.<\/p>\n
It further said that the attack inflicted injuries to several AR personnel including a major rank officer.<\/p>\n\n
