IMPHAL, March 29: A 49 years year old woman was killed in a road mishap this afternoon along the National Highway-2 stretch of Thoubal district.<\/p>\n

The victim was identified as one Sinam Ongbi Shanti Devi, 49, wife of S Rajen Singh of Wangjing Hodamba.<\/p>\n

Sources said that the victim was riding on a Dio moped having no registration number with her son.<\/p>\n

On reaching the office of the peace and film academy the moped was reportedly knocked down by a city rider car (MN02A-5505). Seconds after the felt from her moped she was ran over by a maruti van AS-01z-1675.<\/p>\n

The victim was rushed to Thoubal district hospital however she succumbed to her injury there.<\/p>\n

While the Police registered a case in the connection, the lifeless body has been handed over to the family after having conducted post mortem at JNIMS.  <\/p>\n\n
