{"id":90345,"date":"2014-08-08T20:24:31","date_gmt":"2014-08-09T00:24:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kanglaonline.com\/?p=67768"},"modified":"2014-08-08T20:24:31","modified_gmt":"2014-08-09T00:24:31","slug":"police-foil-tg-students%e2%80%99-rally-to-demand-adequate-teachers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.manipur.org\/news\/2014\/08\/08\/police-foil-tg-students%e2%80%99-rally-to-demand-adequate-teachers\/","title":{"rendered":"Police foil TG students\u2019 rally to demand adequate teachers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kanglaonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1111.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox-0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-67770\" src=\"http:\/\/kanglaonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/1111.jpg\" alt=\"1111\" width=\"640\" height=\"370\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">IMPHAL, August 8: Police personnel stopped students of Tamphasana Girls Higher Secondary School from taking out a rally demanding filling up the posts of vacant teachers in the school.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">According to Sweety Maisnam, Class XI science, T G Higher Secondary School they have boycotted their classes and gathered to express their grievances to the concern government authority.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">She also said that they have been demanding filling up of vacant posts as there were insufficient teachers for every subject.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">She further lamented that instead of fulfilling their demands the Government has transferred six of their teachers to other schools.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">Sweety Maisnam further alleged that on account of the shortfall of teachers in the school, there is a fear that the syllabus for Standard XII will not be covered in time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">She added that as the exams are knocking on the door; there is apprehension about their future career. She warned that government should be held responsible for any untoward incident.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">The students later tried to stage a protest rally; however, a large number of police personnel who had arrived foiled their attempt.
