IMPHAL, October 9: A man was caught red-handed by locals from his house at Langol Tarung village playing with the modesty of a 30 year old woman, whom he had allegedly drugged on pretext of providing medicine for a heart ailment.<\/p>\n
Locals found the woman said to be a heart patient in a semi-conscious manner inside the man`\u2122s house.<\/p>\n
Locals said the man identified as Thongram Chingkhei, 65 has admitted that the woman was his sixth victim.<\/p>\n
Angered by the incident, the locals thrashed him black and blue before handing him over to the Lamphel police.<\/p>\n
Speaking to media persons, president of the grace Colony Youth Club H Bogen Meitei said the man was caught in shameful act around 10am today from his residence in the locality.<\/p>\n
Babita (name changed) who claimed herself to be a heart patient said Chingkhei brought her to his house on the pretext of giving her treatment of her ailment and after drugging her against her wish raped her.<\/p>\n
Locals also said that Chigkhei was earlier jailed for about a year for abusing his wife and children.<\/p>\n
His wife Thongram Ibeni is now staying at her parental house.<\/p>\n
They also alleged that Chingkhei had committed several other human crimes earlier.<\/p>\n\n
