IMPHAL, Nov 9 NNN: The road repairing work being carried out by Border Road Organisation (BRO) along National Highway-37 (Imphal-Jiribam road) would be completed by December 2013, assured Lieutenant General S Ravi Shankar, PVSM, VSM, the Director General Border Roads (DGBR) on Friday.
Shankar visited the headquarters of 25 BRTF at Lamphelpat in Imphal on his way to Aizwal. He was received at the Imphal Airport by Brigadier Arun Joshi, Chief Engineer (Project) Sewak. Informing that 750 labourers are presently engaging along the road, he said routine inspection on the repairing work is being conducted by a monitoring committee of BRO every two months. The road development work is constantly under progress, he added.
