LAMKA, Nov 29: A one day unit level training program on ‘HIV/AIDS awareness’ for 1st IRB personal of Q H Veng, Churachandpur was held at its base camp today.
“HIV prevention is an emergency, its an exigent, HIV accounted for more death then the last World War, infact its a War, it can penetrate the thickest bullet proof of the arm force“ say Benzamin the resource person training programe.
The program, in collaboration with the Manipur Police, made by the IRB was to highlight the importance of the HIV prevention particularly among the personnel of the IRB.
Speaking on the occasion and while delivering a welcome speech Shri C.H Dwajamani Sing ,MPS, welcome the gathering and say that the force wear as vulnerable to the disease as other and awareness is utmost.
SonlianTunglut, program director of “project orchid“ also presented a speak with power point presentation where he dwelt on the important of knowing the root cause of HIV and d durg abuse in CCPur.Around 12;30 the programe concluded with vote of thanks from Shri S P Sing MPS from the IRB followed by a big feast among the participant.
