IMPHAL, February 5: The Sports Meet cum cultural programme of the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Regional Campus concluded today at the Adimjati Complex, Chingmeirong.The meet had earlier began on February 5.
Speaking at the closing function, IGNTU-RCM Director, Prof Vanlalnghak said the University’s campus, which is under construction at Makhan village will be completed and the university can shift to it by the coming session.
He elaborated that about 3km long fencing of the university has been completed and construction of the six buildings are also nearing completion.
He continued even though there might be differences between a person and another, when it comes to sports there is no differences.
“In this modern world, without sports there is no life. Through sports we really can build better relation among the student community”.
“Our life itself is a process of learning, in our life, if there is no change then there is no progress”, he said.
Prizes of the sports meet were also distributed during the closing function today.
