MNS: Chief Minister, O Ibobi greeted all on the eve of Lui Ngai Ni festival. He said , “It gives me great pleasure in greeting the people of Manipur particularly our Naga brethren on the auspicious and joyous occasion of Lui-Ngai-Ni Festival, 2013.
The Lui-Ngai-Ni festival is the seed sowing festival of the Nagas.The festival is celebrated with rich cultural heritage where the blessings of the Supreme Deity is besought on the seeds sown so that they grow to bear fruits for a bountiful harvest .1 hope that it would be celebrated with its true spirit and the festival will strengthen the bond of oneness and brotherhood to all the people belonging to various communities living in the state.
I join our Naga brethren in the celebration of this joyous festival. My best wishes and warm greetings to all the people of Manipur on this happy occasion.
