IMPHAL, Sept 8: A team of the United People`™s Front Manipur led by its president Oinam Bikramjit provided financial help to the helpline opened at Christian Hospital Dewlahland for those injured in the recent Churachandpur violence.
A statement of the front said the recent Churachandpur incidents which left nine dead and many injured were unfortunate.
It said the front shares the grievances for all the losses.
It has further appealed to all not to spread rumours which could create communal tension among the different communities residing in the State.
It said it is also time for the people to sit down together and discuss the three bills together and for the government to call representatives of the different CSOs of the State to invite for talks.
