THOUBAL, Jun 4: PDS items under National Food Security Act (NFSA) for the month of March, April and May have not been distributed to the people of Thoubal Sabantongba ward no 31/24, conveyed a press release issued by secretary of Association for Women Welfare, Sabantongba.
It stated that items only for the month of February and June were distributed. When asked about the rest of the months, the authorities concerned turned a blind eye to the beneficiaries, it added.
The association urged the authority concerned to distribute the pending PDS items at the earliest.
