KANGPOKPI, Sept 4: As timetabled the United Naga Council set in motion the proposed indefinite ban on all vehicular movement in all National and State Highways as well as ban on construction works of National Projects in all Naga settled areas from this morning.

Not a single vehicular movement has been witnessed along the National Highway 2 in Senapati today while more 400 vehicles including trucks carrying essential commodities, passengers vehicles has been stranded at Mao gate.

It is also reported that some vehicles were decimated between Taphou Kuki and Senapati District HQ today by volunteers of UNC.
