Imphal, May 10 : Manipur Science & Technology Council, Imphal will be organising a 5-day State Level Science Festival under the Banner of Science Meet 2012 during May 11-15, 2012 at Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen, Hapta Kangjeibung, Imphal. The theme for Science Meet 2012 is “Clean Energy Options & Nuclear Safety”. The main feature of the programme will be Science Model Exhibition-cum-Competition, Spot Painting Competition, Declamation Contest, Quiz Competition, Best Guide Teacher Award, Best Appreciation Award, Champion of Science Education Award, Leader of Science Education Award, Science Film Show, Science Behind Miracle Show, Puppet Show, Book Exhibition, IT Show, Lecture-cum-Demonstration etc.
The programme will be inaugurated by M. Okendro, Minister (Education), Manipur on May 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. and Kh Ratankumar Singh, Minister (Works & Ttransport), Manipur will preside over the inaugural function.
