MNS: 18 Sikh of 9 Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR(S) in association with ‘Lions & Lioness Club of Imphal’ and department of IHBT, RIMS conducted a Blood Donation Camp on 13 Aug 2012 at Lions Eye Hospital, Sangaiprou. Brig Navneet Kumar, Commander 9 Sector Assam Rifles graced the occasion as chief guest of the function and reiterated the importance of voluntary blood donation to the gathering.
The volunteer contribution by the doctors and the technical staff of RIMS made this event a great success. During the occasion, maximum troops from 28 Assam Rifles, 18 Sikh Regiment and 143 Bn CRPF also donated blood. Apart from the army personnel, volunteers from R.D.O College of Nursing, Lamsang, School of Community Nursing Lamsang, School of Nursing, Khabeishoi and Nightingale Nursing Institute, Porompat also donated blood. 18 SIKH ensured all arrangements for the Volunteer blood donors.
