IMPHAL, August 22: The rivers including Imphal, Nambul, Iril, Nambol , Thoubal, Lillong are flowing in full spate. Among the rivers, Imphal, Nambul and Nambol rivers are flowing above the warning level.

The water level till the filing of the rivers are 787.475 for Imphal river, 783.650 for Nambul and 773.325 for Nambol river.

The water level of the rivers are steadily on the rise and fast approaching up-to flood level.

The rainfall gauge which is measured at five different locations is 45mm at Raj Bhavan, 51mm at Lamphel, 38mm at Kangpokpi, 35 mm at Saikhul and 24 mm at Litan. The measurements are for today at 7 am. Due to the incessant rainfall, many localities lying inside the Imphal municipal area remained inundated.
