IMPHAL, July 24: The Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System has appealed to the people to continue with the democratic forms of agitation in demand for a proper bill in the interest of the indigenous people of the State.
It has appealed to the people to continue with organising sit in protests, human chains and rallies.
A statement of the committee urged the people to continue until the government reacts positively to the public resolutions.
It said the government`™s response to the resolution undertaken during yesterday`™s public consultation will show its commitment to the issue.
