MNS: The 32nd realization day organized by AMSU was held at Students historical monument at Pishum Ching, Singjamei. The former president of AMSU Lourembam Dilip graced the occasion as chief guest.
Floral tributes were paid to the memorial site of two students. Prior to the function, the chief guest and present president of AMSU unfurled the flag of AMSU.
The general secy. of the union, Dipanjit Ningthoujam said, the foreigners entered Manipur day by day. Therefore, Manipuris will be perished as Tripuris.
The population has been increased since 1980. There is an apprehension that the indigenous people who have been inhabited for 2000 ears is on the verge of extinction.
RK Ranendrajit who took part in the function also said, we have been facing lot of suffering for 50 years. No demand has been given to Irom Chanu Sharmila who is fasting till death for the removal of AFSPA 1958. In connection with the function, a blood donation camp was also held at RIMS Hospital.
