The general election of the Manipur University Tribal Students’ Union, Manipur (MUTSU) was held on Saturday and elected its office bearers for the year 2012-2013.
In the general election held at the Student’s Home, Manipur University, Ginkaplian was elected as president; Kreni Lohri as vice president; SR Andria as general secretary; T Lekhogin Haokip as assistant general secretary; Khamlenthang Khongsai as finance secretary; LH Hoinu Tracy Kipgen as social and cultural secretary; G Victory as games and sports secretary, SK Tychicus Shang as educational secretary, Worthingso Khonghar as treasurer and Thangminlien Haokip as information and publicity.
The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected office bearers will be held on October 3 next, a statement of MUTSU said.
