IMPHAL, Dec 22: According to a press note signed by the Superintendent of Manipur Central Jail, Sajiwa, Md. Abash Khan (31) s/o Md. Rajual Haque of Thoubal Moijing who had been hospitalized at JNIMS as per a Court direction of the Chief Magistrate, Thoubal escaped today. The accused had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for 21 days, the statement said. However, the statement did not give any further information on the manner of escape of the said accused.
