Taking note of growing concerns of locals for water borne diseases and the need to provide medical assistance to affected locals, 2 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted a free medical camp at Thoubal Ground, Thoubal district with the active cooperation and assistance of Friends Club, Thoubal today.
According to a statement issued by the PRO of IGAR (S), a medical team comprising of seven doctors and 13 medical staff provided medical aid to 450 people including men, women, children and elderly. Medical facilities provided at Camp included Surgical, ENT, Eye Specialist as well as a Gynecologist to address the medical needs of women folk.

Altogether 30 successful students of both Classes X and XII were felicitated during the programme.
