Zeme Naga Council, Manipur (ZNC-M) while giving Christmas greetings to all appealed civil societies and the people of the state especially in Tamenglong area not to impose any kinds of bandh and blockades in the festive season.

Citing that this is a season of glad tidings, any forms of agitation that can lead to civil unrest should be banned, said a release signed by the president of ZNCM, Adou Newme.

Meanwhile, TASO and other civil society organisations who have threatened to impose a strong agitation and bandh on the lifelines of the sub-division, had also withdrawn their proposed bandh.

However, it has maintained that SDO office will be remained shut until the government gives a positive response with ready to work.
