Assistant Sub-Inspector Kh Birendra of Singjamei police station has been nominated for DGP Trophy for Best Police Officer 2016 while Singjamei police station has been nominated for DGP Trophy for Best Police Station 2016.
Thoubal police station and Bishnupur police station have been nominated for 2nd Best police station while Ukhrul police station and Kangpokpi police station have been adjudged joint winner of 3rd Best Police Station.
The awards carry trophies, commendation certificates and cash rewards and they would be given away during Manipur Police Raising Day celebration on October 19.
