Troops of 6/8 Gorkha Rifles under Loktak Brigade of Red Shield Division, apprehended a PREPAK cadre from Ningthoukhong, Dist Bishenpur on 13 Dec 2011.
Individual revealed his identity as Self Styled Corporal W Tomba Singh (31) son of Ibobi Singh, resident of Ningthoukhong Ward No 7, Dist Bishenpur. The apprehendee revealed that he is an active member of PREPAK since 2001 and is involved in extortion and other underground activities on behalf of PREPAK, 6/8 Gorkha Rifles distributed clothing and rations to People’s Resource Development Community Care Centre in Bishenpur on 15 Dec 2011. The institute looks after HIV infected individuals.
