Materialistic interpretation of Chakkouba Set up special market

Ningol Chakkouba. Everyone understands the innate beauty of such a day and all talk about it. At the same time everyone also talk how this beautiful day has been reduced to an exercise of flaunting one’s wealth and how it has literally become an occasion to ‘show off’ one’s wealth and how much presents one can bring.

The concept of Real Vs Virtual World

A few years ago we all existed in one world – that world which may be called the “Real World” or the “Actual World”. A world in which we can see each other, feel, touch, interact, understand and perceive each other too. We have the ability to know how the person we are interacting with is – we may be wrong but at least we have the opportunity to judge – that is because we are physically present in front of each other and interact with each other. We even have the opportunity and ability to perceive what is going on in the other persons mind – what the other person is thinking – whether there are negative or positive perceptions and vibes.

Welfare mentality and how it impacts our society

For many years, many of our people are under the illusion that their respective MLAs/Ministers would do for them something substantive for their livelihood, if their respective MLAs are elected. They have high hope on the government and its welfare schemes. There is nothing wrong to have hope, but our hope should be well-informed. Having hope for something which is not real is very unfortunate. It is not only the people who should be  blamed for having such false hope, the politicians are to be equally blamed for giving false promises which they do not deliver or cannot deliver.
