IMPHAL April 18: Investors who has fallen prey to Visarev pyramid scam held a meeting at Manipur Press Club today. The investors poured out their sufferings at the meeting and deliberated on means to recoup their investments.
The meeting unanimously resolved to form a body titled “Visarev Investors Association” and to organize a mass public meeting. The meeting will resolve on the future course of action to be adopted by the association after consultation with subject experts. The objective of the body is also to spread awareness regarding fraudulent networking scams and to bring the involved masterminds to task.
It may be mentioned that IFP exposed the Visarev scam in its December 8, 2010 issue. The leaders of the scam after collecting crores are still absconding at present.

IMPHAL, April 18:The Tangkhul Hoho Nagaland (THN) asserts unequivocal condemnation over the ‘attempted assassination attack on the life of Phungyar constituency MLA, Wungnaoshang Keishing on April 15, near Riha Routei village of Ukhrul district, Manipur. The vicious and cowardly attack resulted inthe death of 8 innocent lives beside seriously injuring many others,states THN president NA Kasar in a press release.

While condemning such heinous crime regardless of the identity of the perpetrators, the THN also condoles the families of the victims and compassion to the injured and prays for their speedy recovery.

No political cause could ever be attained through such barbaric acts and therefore, the THN appeals to all concerned to shun from the path of violence, it adds.
