IMPHAL, May 19: Both men’s and women’s Manipur softball teams have entered into the final of the 4th East Zone Softball Championship held at the Practice Ground, Khuman Lampak.
The Manipur Men’s team entered into the final after defeating Nagaland by 6-1 and later Assam by 13-3 runs.
On the other side, both men’s and women’s teams of Orissa also got into the final. Orissa men’s team defeated Assam by 9-2 runs and later Bihar by 11-0 runs.
In the women’s section, Manipur defeated Assam by 10-0 runs in the last league round match, later Orissa also defeated Assam by 7-0 runs.
