IMPHAL,Jan 8: The Gan-Ngai festival of the year 2013 will begin on January 24, 2013 according to a press release of the Zelianrong Cultural Council. It said that following the traditional calculation of the Zelianrong festival date as beginning from the first day of the Wakching month (12 January for this season), the 13th day of Wakching falls on 24 January, 2013 and as such, the Zeliangrong People will begin the festival of Gan-Nagi from the said date.
