According to information received from police, the said drugs were seized when the children of the locality who were ready to collect money during  Yaosang stopped a Tata Magic vehicle in which some persons were traveling.

On hearing about the incident, a team of Yairipok PS went to the scene of the incident but there was a great confrontation between the public and the police when the public made an attempt to burn the drugs along with the vehicle. Police along with additional forces even resorted to blank firing in a bid to control the mob.
