IMPHAL, June 13: Sit in protests are continuing in Imphal demanding for reintroduction of Inner Line Permit in the state.

Today, sit in protests were staged at Singjamei Super Market, Lamlong Bazaar, Kongba Bazaar and Konung Mamang by womenfolk of the respective areas. The protestors were holding placard which read “implement Inner Line system in Manipur”, “safe our indigenous people culture and tradition”, “stop entering of illegal migrant in the state” and “implement ILP system to safe our Indigenous people of the state.”

The sit-ins were organized under the aegis of Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System in Manipur.
