eMail News ServiceImphal, Sep 22 : A simple function in connection with the release of a book entitled “An introduction to land tenure in Manipur and the Manipur land revenue and land reforms act” was held at Sega road. Releasing the book Justice N. Koteshwor said, the book will be useful to the law students and also to the officials working in revenue section of the Government of Manipur. He appealed to all to respect law of the land.Retd. Chief Justice of Gauhati High court R. K. Manisana hailed the writer of book H.Jugeshwor, who is no more for the laborious task done in writing the book. Dean of Social Sciences Manipur University Elangbam Bijoykumar and Salatur Rehman Principal of the LMS Law college also spoke on the occasion.Radharani wife of the late writer also spoke and she appreciated all those who contributed generously in making the programme a success. K. Bipinchandra Sharma advocate gave the key note address.Dr. Sanjit Nepram gave the welcome address while the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. H. Chandrakala daughter of the late writer.
