IMPHAL, October 16: The blockade imposed by the residents of Zakhama on entry of trucks from Manipur has been lifted following an unders-tanding arrived under the customary law of Nagaland.
Trucks from Manipur bound for Guwahati was earlier blocked from passing through Zakhama in protest against the death of a local teenager reportedly knocked down by a truck from Manipur on October 9.
However, even as the ban was lifted FCS trucks and oil tankers stayed off roads demanding separate escorts for them.
