DIMAPUR, Jul 2 : Flags of the NSCN(I-M) flew at half mast at Camp Hebron while a smart turnout of Naga Army of the NSCN(I-M) stood in attention to present their greatest honour and last respects to their departed leader late Isak Chishi Swu, chairman/Yaruiwo NSCN(I-M) as the coffin containing the body was carried from the hearse.

IMPHAL, Jul 2: Manipur State Power Distribution Company Ltd (MSPDCL) has informed all consumers of Lamphel Sub-division No 1 under IED-II that there will be no power supply at Uripok Feeder on July 4 from 6 am to 2 pm due to testing and charging of underground cable from Ibotonsana School to Naoremthong. Consumers residing at Uripok, Naoremthong and some part of Lamphel will not get power due to this shut down, according to a statement issued by the manager, LSD-I of MSPDCL.

The State level public discourse was declared opened by Phungyar Headquarters headman AS Shimreishang in the presence of resource persons namely Daniel Ramsan, Jubilate Kazingmei and Dr Ershilia Jajo. IMPHAL, Jul 2: A team of Narcotics and Affairs of Border, Police Station arrested a person with two and a half kilograms of opium from the Western side of the road near Yaingangpokpi market shed yesterday around 3.45 pm. The arrested person has been identified as Leinminlun Haokip alias Lulun (35) s/o (L) Paomang of Yaingangpokpi Sunurok village under Lamlai PS in Imphal East, according to a statement issued by the PRO of Police Dept. The arrested person along with the seized opium was brought to NAB-PS for taking necessary legal action. A case has been registered at NAB-PS and investigation is going on, it added.
