IMPHAL, Jul 3: Federation of Government College Teacher’s Association, Manipur (FEGOCTA) has welcomed the constitution of five member UGC Pay Review Committee for the university and college teachers in India. The Committee will review the implementation of 6th UGC ROP and also make recommendations on pay revision, measures for attracting and retaining talented persons in the teaching profession, encouraging research, career advancement, improving the quality of higher education etc. It will submit the report within 2nd week of December 2016.
