Imphal, Jul 20 : The United People’s Front (UPF), one of the two umbrella bodies of Kuki militant groups, has “officially” demanded a separate “hill State” within the territory of Manipur.
The demand was raised by the outfit during a recently held political dialogue with Central representatives at New Delhi, report today.

DBC, Maram shows the way

IMPHAL, Jul 20: Founded way back in 2000, Don Bosco College, Maram located 85 km from the State capital in Senapati district, recently made headlines for securing 3.35 point in the CGPA score which was the highest in Manipur till date and second in the entire North East.
The grading process was conducted by the National Assessment Accreditation Council of India (NAAC) in 2015. Adding another achievement to its list, the college was declared as “College with potential for Excellence (CPE)” along with two colleges from Assam and Mizoram by the University Grant Commission (UGC) in April this year.
