The Editors’ Guild Manipur has strongly condemned the act of burning newspapers by counter blockade supporters at Khumbong on December 1 morning. The newspapers were meant for Jiribam and Tamenglong.
In a statement, EGM appealed to all not to target media products/newspapers and media persons in the course of any agitation and urged all to give strict instructions to their volunteers not to target newspapers and media persons.
