It has been confirmed that six persons have been infected by Dengue at Hengkom hamlet, Churachandpur district.
It is also suspected that all the six persons infected by Dengue have also been infected by Japanese Encephalitis.
Incidentally, Hengkom is located around 30 Kms from Churachandpur district headquarters.
Following confirmation of the six Dengue cases, the State Malaria Office has taken up necessary control measures, informed a source.
