Senapati, Aug 4: ADC Senapati acknowledged the announcement of the State Government to recognise the indigenous wrestling cham-pionship as a State-level sports event from next edition.
In a statement, ADC Chairman ML Markson attributed the success of its recently concluded event to the support and coperation of the public, volunteers, officials, villagers and parti- cipants and churches and civil bodies and participants, during the three-day ADC Raising Day Indegenious Wrestling Championship. The ADC also expressed gratitude to everybody involved in the event.

Thoubal, Aug 4: DLC Heirok defeated Heirok United by 3-0 in the first match while the second match between HKKSA Haokha and SUSAL Langathel ended in a 1-1 in the DFA Thoubal Division I Football League Tournament 2017 today.
Th Rakesh, N Bikram and Kh Rajesh scored the winning goals for DLC Heirok in the first match. In the second match that ended in a tie, P Amitkumar scored the goal for HKKSA and Thanglen did it for SUSAL. On August 6, YDA Tentha will clash with ELYC Leiranghtel at 1pm and LPYC Leirangthel with RPU Patpal at 3:30pm.

Jamini Devi’s book is “Lumbini Leikolda Shat-houba Leirang”; its literal meaning is The Flower That Was Found Blooming at The Lumbini Garden.’ Here in this book she narrates about the experiences, which she and her team of the Raseswari Pala came into, during their religious tour in Nepal and also at a few centers in the West Bengal.

This writing of mine, which could also be perceived as a personal opinion, is indeed a matter of public importance. It is to present a constitutional argument on the basis of the statement made by the incumbent Chief Minister of Manipur in the ongoing Manipur Legislative Assembly’s session. The statement of the Chief Minister is reported in The Sangai Express (English Edition), dated the 3rd of August, 2017.

Furious over the alleged negligence of the authority concerned to provide adequate infrastructure including benches, students of DM College of Science today damaged the Principal’ office door and windows. They also destroyed table and chairs inside the office. Speaking to media persons later, finance secretary of DMC Sc Students’ Union, Lairenjam Rameshwari said many students of the college face untold hardships due to inadequate benches in the classrooms.
