State lad tops Natl painting

Imphal, Dec 27: Venish Keisham from Singjamei secures the all-India first rank in a National spot painting competition on fuel energy conservation which was organised by the Petroleum Conservation Research Association in New Delhi today.
Venish, a resident of Singjamei Leishangthem Leikai and a son of Kei-sham Ibopishak and Tombi, is currently studying in Class 8 at Pitambara English School.
In the competition that was held at the Constitution Club of India, Rafi Marg on the theme of ‘save fuel to make a clean world’, the topper had taken part in the senior category for Classes 8 to 10. He had received the certificate after the competition. The official prize distribution will be held on January 16, 2018 in the presence of the Union Petroleum Minister, informed a source.
