IMPHAL, July 1: Yesterday, at about 16:00h Mr Hopson resident of Kangchup Chiru was brought to the post of 10 Assam Rifles at Kangchup after getting bitten by a snake. The victim was immediately given first aid and a shot of anti snake venom to save his life.
For this timely help the villagers of Kangchup Chiru were thankful to Assam Rifles and Security persons for truly following our motto of “Friends of the Hills People” and saving the life of one of their villager. In areas where basic amenities such as Primary Health Center, Dispensaries, etc are lacking Assam Rifles provides assistance in and gives a ray of hope to the people of these under developed parts of Manipur added the release.
