Imphal, Feb 23: Commander 10 Sector Assam Rifles under HQ IGAR(South) distributed Solar Street Lights under Assam Rifles Military Civic Action Programme to Shakok, Koso, Leishi and Leiting villages on 22 Feb 2012. The ceremony was attended by Village Authorities and populace of the area. The helping and developing efforts of the HQ 10 Sector Assam Rifles have been applauded by the villagers and they expressed their thanks to the Assam Rifles for the kind help. The Commander assured the villagers, Assam Rifles will continue in its endeavour to provide every possible assistance to the villagers for development in the hilly region.
In another occasion,10 Assam Rifles 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(S) distributed computer sets and accessories to Govt Higher Secondary School Tengkonjang Nonei on 23 February 2012. Principal Mr K G Lanshingpou expressed heartiest felicitation and gratitude towards Assam Rifles for this noble act of kindness.. Various cultural programmes were presented by children during presentation ceremony.
