The SF have time and again extended a helping hand to the locals of Churachandpur, be it by provisioning of MCA projects, conducting of medical camps, anti drug seminars or motivational lectures for school children. In the same spirit , 1/11 Gorkha Rifles of 27 Sect AR under the aegis of Red Shield Division organised an educational tour to Imphal for 40 students alongwith teachers of Unique Public School, T Munjang, Churachandpur district on 12 Jun 2012 under the programme “Know your state”. This tour was organized with an aim to spread the message “Know your state’ to the student community who are the future of this beautiful state. The tour gave an opportunity to the students to visit INA Museum, Moirang, State Museum, Science Centre and Radha Krishan Temple, Imphal. The excitement was evident on their eager faces of the children.
