IMPHAL, May 3: The three accused  who were arrested by police and kept in police custody with regard to the Satyabhama case were produced before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate/Imphal East (CJM/IE) at Lamphelpat. 

The three accused produced before the court are Toijam Thesus alias Aboy alias James (27), son of T. Jugindro Singh of Thambalkhong Salam Leikai, Thoudam Jibon (27), son of late Th. Thoiba Singh of Irilbung Machahal Mayai Leikai and Kshetrimayum Biju alias Holendro (28), son of Kh. Ibochou Singh.

The three accused were produced in connection with case FIR No. 24 (4) 2013 IBG PS U/S 302/34 1PC  registered by Irilbung Police Station of Imphal East regarding the incident.

The accused were produced before the court and the court began to record their statements regarding the incident.

It may be mentioned that vaginal swab and urethral swab taken during the post mortem examination of the dead body of the deceased N Satyabhama Devi was sent to Forensic Science Laboratory at Pangei for examination. When the report on examination arrives, the charge sheet will be filed against the three accused.
