IMPHAL, June 17: A press release issued by Manipur State Council For Child Welfare said that an annual award entitled “Dr. Lamabam Kamal Ningshing Mana” will be conferred on Manipur writers who write stories for children.
It went further that the award will be given to writers who translate the world famous literary works for children into Meiteilon and it will be annually presented on the birthday of Dr Kamal at a special function. The release has called the attention of qualified writers on the literary works for children.
