IMPHAL, November 7: Manipur Assembly Speaker Th Lokeshwar has today reserved the final verdict hearing regarding the tribunal case under the 10th Schedule at the Tribunal Court of the Speaker of the Manipur Legislature Assembly regarding disqualification against Kh Joykishan MLA Thangmeiband, Th Bishwajit MLA Thongju and O Lukhoi MLA Wagoi AC who were elected with AITC tickets in the 10th Manipur General Election.
Today’s sitting which saw both counsels tabling their arguments on the case was started at 10:30am and continued till late evening at the New Secretariate building.
It may be mentioned that presently eight cases are underway in the tribunal court which are Th Shyamkumar and Thangmeiband Trinamool Congress Workers against Kh Joykisan, case no 2 O Kavi vs Kh Joykisan, Case no 3. W Ngalentombi vs Kh Joykisan, Case no 4 Th Shyamkumar vs Kh Joykisan, case no 6 Th Shyamkumar vs O Lukhoi, case no 7 Th Shyamkumar vs K Sarat and case no 8 Kim Gangte Vs Dr I Ibohalbi.
The hearings for Case no 7 has been fixed for November 11 and that of case no 8 for November 13.
