IMPHAL, Apr 04 MU: The JAC against the suspicious death of N Sopia demanded punishment of father and son duo from Thanga Hameiba Leikai, which is alleged to be main accused of the incident.
Speaking to media person in regards at Manipur Press Club this afternoon, JAC co-convenor, S Premabati said that the JAC have receive information the accused are trying to bail out and if those accused were found to move out on bail then intense action will be taken up with several types of agitation along with women CSOs.
She also appealed the concern police to submit charge sheet for speedy justice, and alleged that deceased Ningthoujam Sopia was a murdered and not a suicide.
Several accused have been move out bailed which is serious issue and inculcate other persons that any crimes can be done and there is a room to escape through bail which is a gross injustice toward the victims, wherein several crimes and tortures against women society is increasing day by day.
Proper judgment and punishment must be given to every helpless victim; despite approving to move out on bail is a gross injustice which makes trauma to the victim. It may be recalled that the decease N Sopia of Thanga Salam Leikai d/o N Shamjai was found dead on February 6 at ThangaHameibanLaikai.
